Wes Hunting studied glass at both Kent State University and the Penland School of Crafts. He has operated his own private glass studio for the last fifiteen years. His work is included in such museums as the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum and the Peoria Institute of art. Many corporate collections inlcuding Bank One, Standard Oil, Hyatt, Philip-Morris, and The Quaker Oat Comapny also feature glass sculpture by Hunting.

Hunting states, " My desire is to lead you into one of my vessels...to have you look around and explore the beauty of form and detail, the command of the colors and the amazing refraction of light unique to glass."
